Returning to Juneau Years After Graduation

Hi all,
In reference to the most recent poll regarding "What did you do after graduation".....although I didn't stay in or return to Juneau to make it my home after graduation, I do SO enjoy going back to visit.
It's fun to see everyone and reflect on how things used to be when I lived there 20+ years ago.
After leaving Juneau and talking with folks that have never been to Alaska, I realize how precious it was go get to grow up there.
Juneau (and Alaska in general) is such a beautiful place to be as a child (or at least that's my recollection). It was safe (Mom never had to worry about us running thru the woods or staying out to play late in the Summer) and peaceful.
Some people wait their whole lives to just visit Alaska, so I'm honored!!
Go Juneau-ites!!
