Did not actually graduate from JDHS; but attended school since 5th grade!!! Yeah Capital School, up on 5th steet; left before senior year and graduated in Montana. Returned to Juneau in 1969, worked for the State; left 1973 to work and live in Washington DC (during the Watergate era; returned to Juneau,worked for the State and private sector as a bookkeeper/accountant. Retired in 1998, moved to Montana for one year, then on to Arizona in 1999 to care for my terminally ill step-father. After his death I stayed on to live and care for my Mother. I attended schooling in AZ for Hospice/Home Health Care, becoming a Certified Nurses' Assistant in 2000. We moved to Prescott, AZ in 2002 where I worked for the local hospital as a hospice aide. While in Prescott, I attended college taking courses in medical billing. Unfortunately in 2004 I became disabled and retired from all work. Mother and I moved to Oklahoma in Aug 2006 to be near my brother, Monty (JDHS class of 1967). Oklahoma is beautiful, has 4 seasons. The summers get toooo hot for me (upper 90's), but the winters are mild - except for last years' Ice Storm and getting used to the Tornado sirens !!! Monty forgot to tell us about "Tornados". Life is good and I am content!!
