Mostly because the old site had been created using 3-4 year old code and keeping up with the bugs was becoming pretty time consuming. Basically, the server it was on was always updated and so with every update, the code for the old JDHSGrads.com would reveal a function that had broken or something that worked a different way now, etc.
That's the technical reason, but I also did it because I thought a new look would be cool and the codebase for this new site allows for a lot more expandability and features, so it'll be better for everyone!
How do you like it so far? Anything you'd change or bring back?
